An experience like no other
You will be part of a small and close-knit year group of like-minded and diverse students, while simultaneously being part of an almost 4,000-strong team of smart and supportive Dyson people on campus.
As a first year Undergraduate Engineer, you will live on-site in a modern accommodation pod designed by renowned architect Chris Wilkinson. Set in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, the campus is within easy driving distance of the thriving cities of Bristol, Bath and Gloucester. And there’s always something going on at Dyson – whether it’s a charity bike ride, a pumpkin carving challenge, or a 24 hour hackathon competition.
However you decide to spend your time here, you’ll be part of a community of people who inspire each other. You’ll also have our on-site student support services to help you thrive during your studies and life at Dyson.
Student support
The Dyson Institute is a challenging place to learn – you work on a robust academic degree alongside live Dyson projects, all-year-round. To help you make the most of this, we've put support services in place to help you thrive in this environment.
Students as Partners
We treat our Undergraduate Engineers as students as partners in their educational experience. We have a comprehensive Student Engagement Framework and a student-led Undergraduate Experience Committee.
