Helping you to thrive.

Helping you to thrive.

The Dyson Institute is a challenging place to learn – you’re working on a robust academic degree alongside live Dyson projects, all-year-round. To help you make the most of this, we’ve put support services in place to ensure that everyone thrives in this unique environment.

The Undergraduate Development Partner will support your personal, professional and leadership development through regular one-to-one meetings, and will be your go-to aide to help you navigate through this new world. You will also be part of a Dyson Institute family and allocated ‘parents’ when you join – Undergraduate Engineers in the year above who will help you settle in and navigate The Dyson Institute across four years.

Our qualified Mental Health Nurse will also be on hand to deliver on-site therapy and coaching to support mental health and wellbeing. They can address a wide range of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, lifestyle, relationships and bereavement. And because we have such small cohorts, we can respond to individual needs in a way that other universities only dream of.
